Leigh claim late draw Mick Nanyn kicked a last-gasp penalty as Leigh snatched a dramatic 20-20 draw with champions Barrow in their Co-operative Championship opener. The Centurions trailed 20-12 after Barrow swept ahead with tries from Andy Ballard, Danny Halliwell and Chris Young early in the second half but Stuart Donlan's second touchdown for Leigh set up the dramatic finale. Jamie Rooney had opened the scoring for Barrow with an early try while Dave Alstead also got on the Centurions' scoresheet.
